Privacy policy

FixerFit is made by FixerAI Technologies (“we”). This page says, in plain words, what we collect when you use FixerFit, why, who can see it, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

What we collect

Your account: your email address and password (stored scrambled; we cannot read it).
Your profile: the name, username and photo you choose, your training goals, experience and units.
Your training: workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, routines, personal records, body weight and other measurements you log.
Social: friends, groups, challenges and check-ins (including check-in photos), reactions, comments, and messages you send, including photos in chat.
Coaching: if you work with a coach, what you choose to share with them, and your messages with them.
Questions to the AI coach and machine photos: what you ask, and photos you take with “What’s this machine?”.
Technical: notification settings and the push address of your phone, basic device and error information when something breaks, and which invite link brought you (never who you are to the person who shared it).

We do not collect your location, your contacts, or anything from other apps.

Why we use it

To run the app: save and sync your training, show your progress, and keep your account secure.
To send what you ask for: workout reminders, friend and challenge updates, and messages. You can switch each one off in Settings → Notifications.
To answer the AI coach and the machine lookup (see “Who else handles your data”).
To fix problems and keep FixerFit safe, including reviewing messages that someone reports.
To send account emails (sign-up codes, password resets). We send newsletters only if you choose them.

Who can see what

Friends see only what you allow in Settings → Privacy: by default, that you trained and your new records, not what you lifted, and never your body weight.
Groups and challenges you join see your check-ins and streaks.
A coach sees only what you hand over, and only while you let them. You can change or end this at any time.
Chats are visible only to the people in them. If someone reports a message, our team can read that message to decide what to do.
A small number of FixerAI staff can access data when needed to run, secure or support the app.

Who else handles your data

We use trusted companies to run FixerFit. They process data only to provide their service to us:

Supabase stores the database, sign-in and photos (servers in Tokyo, Japan).
Vercel hosts the app.
Resend sends our emails.
OpenAI and Anthropic answer AI coach questions and identify machine photos. We send only what is needed for the answer, and these providers do not use it to train their models under our agreements with them.
Apple, Google or Mozilla deliver push notifications to your phone.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, training, photos and messages are deleted. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire (within 30 days). We may keep a small record where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

Download everything or delete your account at any time: You → Your data.
Change what friends, groups and coaches see: Settings → Privacy.
Turn notifications off: Settings → Notifications, or in your phone’s settings.
Ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@fixeraihq.com. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act 2023 or the EU and UK GDPR), you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Health information

Body weight, measurements and training can say something about your health. We use them only to show you your own progress and, if you choose, to share with a coach. We never sell them or use them for advertising.

Children

FixerFit is for people aged 16 and over. If you think a younger child has an account, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

Connections are encrypted, each person can only reach their own data unless they have shared it, and photos are private and shown only through short-lived links. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
